About Revive & Survive San Diego
The UC San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science and the County of San Diego Emergency Medical Services convened a coalition of leaders from public health, public safety, business, education and community organizations to lead a countywide initiative to save lives by training 1 million San Diegans across the region in hands-only CPR.
Vision: To save lives, hands-only CPR will be performed in cardiac arrest patients in San Diego County.
Mission: To train 1 million San Diegans in hands-only CPR.
Approach: Revive & Survive San Diego community partners will be recruited to engage the public in hands-only CPR training.
Definition of trained: Successfully perform high quality hands-only CPR on a feedback mannequin (as determined by a Revive & Survive San Diego training partner).
